A force multiplier refers to a factor that dramatically increases (hence "multiplies") the effectiveness of an item, technology or group.
The CAREFORCES Team has reverse engineered the force multiplication strategy of the military, from war —to a peace time model. We have re-engineered these factors leveraging proactive attributes and the related combination of factors to expand the impact of a given social benefit organization -- In this case the select group of "careforces" to allow and organization to be at least 10X more effective than that same force would be without it. The expected size increase required to have the select groups have the same effectiveness without that advantage is the multiplication factor. In other words becoming 10X more effective with the same "human capital" is and becomes the force multiplier. • For example, if a given technology like GPS enables a social benefit agency to accomplish the same logistical results of a force ten times as large as the same group without access to GPS, then the multiplier is 10X. • Or for example if low cost seeds for growing vegetables that contain high concentrations of Vitamin A — which cures night blindness — the forces multiplier is virtually incalculable for the quality of life of those who benefit by this simple but highly effective dietary modification. Such estimates are used to justify an investment cost and estimate payback from select force multipliers. |
